How many people suffer from chronic migraines? Not just bad headaches………If you suffer with migraines you’ll know what I’m talking about. Also how many days does it take you yo get over one….mine are 3 – 7 days.

I do. When I get one, I have to get to my doctor asap. She gives me an injection to help with the pain. Then I am in bed for about 3 days. Sick as hell and have to stay in a dark room. I do believe that they can go away after a while. Lets hope.

My daughter whose 8 gets them. She got one Friday and it lasted her normal 3 hours. That evening she got another triggered by the lights at the Mall – it was very hard.
She is just feeling better from it (3 days).
Not much they can do for her – motrin and rest.
It’s very hard – and nobody gets “it” unless they truly suffer.
I am one of those ppl who have chronic migraines, which I was diagnosted with when I was a very young child. It sometimes takes a few days, but I take strong strong powerful medicine to get rid of them. Such as imatrac, which was perscribed by my doctor or just plain old excedrin, but I take like 2. But without medicine it takes a few days for my migraine to go away.
